New Orleans Music is a specialist international magazine dedicated to all aspectes of the music. Published quarterly in the UK and mailed all over the world, it contains original research material, record, book and festival reviews. A regular feature is a report covering contemporary happenings in the city of New Orleans itself.

As with the majority of magazines, there is a reader's letter column which can get very lively at times. It has been said that if one assembled 100 New Orleans jazz fans in the same room and started to discuss the music there would be 101 definitions!
